Here is Bitten By Books review about White Wolf of Avalon: Werewolf Knight

White Wolf Of Avalon: Werewolf Knight by Eva Gordon

White Wolf of Avalon: Werewolf Knight is the third book in author Eva Gordon’s Wolf Maiden Chronicles series. The book takes place in Fifth Century Britain and works in the King Arthur myth alongside the author’s own mythology.

Sir Bledig, the Iron Fist of the Round Table, does not want anything to do with his werewolf heritage, or the destiny that is foretold about him. By age 21 Bledig has been in many battles alongside King Arthur against King Aelle and his Saxon army. He wishes to marry a human wife, and break the curse that is passed down to a werewolf’s offspring if they mate with a wolf maiden. Bledig is put to the test when he meets a young wolf maiden named Annora. Bledig must come face to face with the foretold destiny even if it is the last thing he wants.
Lady Annora of Londinium Augusta has been promised by her brother to Gargol the younger brother of the Alpha wolf of Britain Gorlagon. Upon arriving Annora finds Gorlagon to me an evil man, and is thrown into the dungeon. There Annora meets a pack leader named Kaie, and with each other’s help escapes from Gorlagon’s fortress. Annora finds help with an alpha wolf named Bledig, who she finds attracted to instantly. Though she doesn’t understand how any alpha wolf can hate their existence the way Bledig does. Annora hopes she can show Bledig that being a wolf is a part of him that shouldn’t be cured.
The story molds both the King Arthur mythology and the Wolf Maiden Chronicles mythology together very well. As in her previous two books Eva Gordon manages to find a nice balance between the action and the romance. Both men and woman will find enough in this story to be satisfied. The author has managed to create great adversaries in all three of the Wolf Maiden Chronicle books. Gorlagon and his younger brother Gargol are no exceptions. You are strongly rooting for the hero Bledig against the two brothers by the end of the story.
